One good deed

You would think with all the things going on with my life that I would not have time to add on another project. Although this type of project seems fairly easy. Yesterday I had a catch up dinner with the bestie and there happened to be a charity event going on at the restaurant. The local sheriffs department was raising money for the Special Olympics. I didn't hesitate to take out my checkbook and write a check for $50 =). The sheriff was very thankful and gave us free Special Olympics T-Shirts! It felt very good to give back and do something very selfless. For the remainder of the year, I intend to do one good deed a day. Of course, this is something I want to be able to do every day from now on, so little steps like this will help me get on my way. =)
